- Sarah and I have been making lunches each day.
- I am a coke zeroaholic so I have bought big warm bottles from the supermarket and decant them into 600ml bottles.
- We have been switching the computer, TV and microwave off at the wall to save electricity.
- We bought cheap foreign beer.
- We have started an ebay box of stuff we will sell on ebay.
- I bought bathers reduced from $64 to $10.
- I estimate we are saving between $50 and $100 a week at the moment.
what about making home brew? ade has been doing it for a year. while still perfecting the recipe it has considerably cut down our beer cost. maybe have bought 2 cartons in a year. the set up price plus the ongoings still works out far cheaper than buying it…
be careful that you quote the correct postage cost for those ebay items… i got stung the other where i misquoted postage and including the selling price i didn’t make any money.
